Holder for breakaway cable, fitting for all MVG towbars. The use of the holder for the breakaway cable is mandatory for example in the Netherlands and Switzerland. It must be used to additionally fixate the breakaway cable when driving with a trailer. The breakaway cable must be hooked in the loop of the holder.

The holder consists of the two-part holder, one containing the loop for hooking in the breakaway cable. The needed screws and nuts for fitting the holder to the vehicle are part of the set as well and allow an easy fixation. All parts are made of metal, the loop can be opened through a spring mechanism in order to hook the breakaway cable in.
